Strutt Armstrong is a client-focused CPA firm proudly serving Milton and the surrounding communities. We specialize in providing proactive support and advice to small business owners, and deliver exceptional tax, bookkeeping, payroll and accounting services to help our clients achieve their goals. Our mission is to make life easier for our clients and we are committed to excellence in everything we do.
The practice was founded in 1992 by Linda J Nigh, CMA. Linda successfully operated the business for 17 years before selling it to Warren Strutt in 2008. Kim Armstrong joined the firm as Partner in 2016—officially creating ‘Strutt Armstrong.’
In 2020, Warren and Kim partnered with S+C Partners LLP to lead our dedicated team of caring and highly knowledgeable professionals in the delivery of a comprehensive suite of professional services.
Our Team

Warren Strutt, CPA, CMA
Partner
Warren has 30+ years of accounting and tax experience, 17 of which were in progressive management positions—including Director of the Ontario Regional Accounting Centre of the Salvation Army. In 2005, Warren joined the offices of Linda Nigh, CMA, where he focused on owner-managed businesses and taxation. In 2008, Warren acquired the practice and spent the next eight years growing the firm significantly before expanding the partnership in 2016. Warren is dedicated to helping his clients meet their financial objectives while successfully navigating whatever challenges or life changes they may be facing. Warren received his CMA designation in 1995 and is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

Kim Armstrong, CPA, CGA
Partner
Kim joined the practice as Partner in 2016 following a successful 20+ year career in corporate finance. Kim truly understands the challenges and opportunities faced by business owners. As an executive team member and VP of Finance for a leading supplier of wireless network products, Kim gained direct experience in all areas of accounting, finance, corporate tax, human resources, and business management. Kim now specializes in corporate and personal tax planning, CRA reviews and audits, cash flow, budgeting, inventory valuation, forecasting, legal review, and due diligence. Kim has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University and received her CPA designation in 2009.

Andrea Robey, CPA, CA, CFP
Senior Client Service Manager
Andrea joined Strutt Armstrong in March 2020 from our affiliated firm S+C Partners LLP, where she has worked since 2007 and where she is also a Senior Client Service Manager. Andrea takes a very hands-on approach to client service and specializes in creating accounting, tax, financial planning, and audit solutions that provide added value to owner-managed businesses. She is passionate about facilitating business growth and helping individuals achieve their goals. Andrea has been a member of CPA Ontario and CPA Canada since 2007 and received her designation as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2012. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Christine Laros, CPA, CA
Client Service Manager
Christine joined Strutt Armstrong in December 2020 from our affiliated firm S+C Partners LLP, where she has worked since 2013 and where she is also a Client Service Manager. Christine works closely with private businesses and their owners across a variety of industries to deliver tailored accounting, tax, and audit solutions that help them meet their personal and professional objectives. Christine is dedicated to reducing the stress of compliance obligations, and clients can always count on her for timely and accurate advice. Christine has been a member of CPA Ontario and CPA Canada since 2013 and has a Master of Accountancy from Brock University.

Teresa Ellis, CB
Bookkeeper
Teresa joined the practice in 2018. Known for her attention to detail and outstanding work ethic, Teresa has over 25 years’ experience providing bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and office administration services to small to mid-sized companies across a variety of industries. Teresa is a Certified Bookkeeper through the Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping, and has both an Accounting Specialist Certificate and a Loss Prevention & Risk Management Diploma from Sheridan College. She is well versed in multiple accounting software and has her Quickbooks Online Advanced Certification.
Jennifer Flannagan
Bookkeeper
Jennifer joined the firm in early 2017. She has a background in public accounting and has been a bookkeeper for over 25 years. Jennifer’s experience spans almost every industry, and her many years as a self-employed bookkeeper have given her a keen understanding of the challenges involved with owning and operating a small business. In addition to providing professional bookkeeping services, Jennifer’s in-depth knowledge of Sage 50 and Quickbooks (desktop and cloud versions) has made her a valuable resource for clients seeking training in the use of these tools.

Nancy Almeida, CPA, CGA
Bookkeeper
Nancy joined the Strutt Armstrong team in 2022. She is a highly skilled bookkeeper with extensive accounting experience in service-based industries. Nancy specializes in providing full-cycle bookkeeping and other financial services to small businesses—including cost monitoring, payroll, remittances, forecasting, reconciliations, the preparation of financial statements, and consulting with external auditors. Nancy is a member of CPA Canada and received her CGA designation in 2006. She also has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Audit from the University of Mumbai.
Sally Mata
Bookkeeper
Sally joined Strutt Armstrong in 2022 with 20+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, A/R, and tax preparation. Sally has a Certificate in Accounting from Sheridan College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a major in Accounting. Prior to joining Strutt Armstrong, Sally worked as a compensation officer for a private Canadian company and as a revenue officer with the Bureau of Internal Revenue in the Philippines. Sally is well-versed in most accounting software and is certified in QuickBooks.

Dawn Ainikkal
Administrative Assistant
Dawn has a background in communications and project administration and joined Strutt Armstrong in 2022. Dawn began her career as a communications specialist in the financial services sector and was also a production coordinator for an advertising agency. More recently, Dawn served as a Project Assistant for The Centre for Skills Development & Training, and a Coordinator for Family Enterprise Canada. Dawn has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
